About the Blog:
This is a blog. As you may have noticed, it is called the Bell High School Blog or Bruins Blog… or something along those lines. Regardless, as you may have no doubt surmised, it is a blog that has its main theme centered on Bell High School. Now, kids, when you search Google, you may notice many such “Bell High Schools”. But unlike what Google would tell you, this Bell that we’re refering to is not the one in California, but rather, the one in Ottawa (or Nepean), Ontario, Canada – home to about 1000 or so students… Anyways, this blog provides a place where the students can voice their opinions on virtually anything (preferably Bell-related) without: a. having to disclose their names, and b. the interference of teachers and such. However, know that this is NOT an official blog for Bell, although messages from the school administration may be posted from time to time. This blog essentially provides an environment for free commentary (although it will be moderated, but not as severely as some of the school admins might do it), and we feel that having a place like this blog is important in a country where the freedom of speech is a fundamental right. So yeah kids. Don’t be afraid to exercise those rights by voicing your comments or criticisms (in a helpful fashion of course) on the things going on around school or in our daily lives.
